History:

Sadly, last year at the championships we were only able to achieve a finish near the bottom due mostly to numerous injuries. Yet this year we have been recharged and are more motivated than ever before. We train very diligently in order to show the crowd just what we can do within 3 min. This year it’s not so much about a strong finish, but more so about giving our best and most importantly, having fun. We wish all the teams much luck and we hope that it will be an unforgettable day for everyone.

History:

The Raiderettes Danceteam in this exact form has only been in existance for little less than a year. The 9 of us practice 3 times every week and are already allowed to participate in large performances! We also participated for 5 months in a dance course in order for us to get inspired by new ideas and become more technically refined. We are particularly proud of the fact that we have been able to participate in the championships after such a short time period. We hope we will be successful at the championships and are very excited to be able to present to you our championship program!

History:

Our Junior Squad has been in existence since the Fall of 1999 and consists at the moment of 15 active cheerleaders. After a very challenging and difficult championship preparation period, we are very happy to be able to make a second appearance in the category of Cheer and to show the strides of improvement we have made. Just the same as last year we don’t want to hold ourselves to a specific place, rather we’d simply want an overall successful Austrian Cheerleader Championship. We wish all of the teams a successful and injury-free day!

We are the hatchlings of the greater Raiders family and were founded in November 2003 after a large interest was shown. There are 26 of us and we range in ages from 7 to 12 years old. At the moment we practice two times every week and follow the motto “Just cheer and have fun!” We are making our 3rd appearance at the Austrian Cheerleader Championships and are very excited to be able to show everyone what our hard work for this program has led to!! We wish our littlest ones tons of fun and much success at the 2008 Championships!
