SWARCO Raiders Defeat Berlin Adler to Win Eurobowl
The SWARCO Raiders, Austrian sister team of The Oakland Raiders, regained the European crown. Despite heavy rain the Tyroleans defeated last year?s champion Berlin Adler 27-12 (10-0; 7-6; 7-0; 3-6) in Eurobowl XXV. Supported by a record crowd, the Oakland Raiderettes and Hall of Famer Willie Brown the SWARCO Raiders celebrated their third Eurobowl title in four seasons.

SWARCO Raiders JV qualify for the Silver Bowl!
With a clear 48:10 win against the Vienna Vikings II the Junior Varsity Team of the SWARCO Raiders qualify for the Silver Bowl - Game in Division I Austrian Football League. Opponent will be the Kornmesser Rangers. Date and venue to be announced.

SWARCO Raiders win Thriller - reach Eurobowl final
The SWARCO Raiders, marketing partner of The Oakland Raiders, reached the Eurobowl final. Thanks to a last-second field goal they defeated arch rival Raiffeisen Vikings Vienna with 13-10 (0-7; 7-0; 0-3; 6-0) in the EFL semifinal. In their third Eurobowl final in four years the Tyroleans will face reigning champion Berlin Adler on June 18. The German team beat the Graz Giants 32-30.

SWARCO Raiders Celebrate Historic Victory
With an impressive 81-0 (27-0; 20-0; 27-0; 7-0)-win over the Salzburg Bulls in the final week of the 2011 Austrian Football League (AFL) regular season the SWARCO Raiders, marketing teammate of The Oakland Raiders, secured home-field advantage throughout the AFL playoffs. The 81-0 victory also was the Tyroleans biggest win in the AFL in team history.

SWARCO Raiders dominate against French champion
Within one week the SWARCO Raiders, marketing teammate of The Oakland Raiders, faced to national champions. Both times they ended up on top. After defeating the Austrian champion Danube Dragons 28-0 last weekend, the Tyroleans also beat the French champion, winning 41-6 (21-0; 14-0; 0-6; 6-0) against the Amiens Spartiates. With the victory the SWARCO Raiders advanced to the Eurobowl semifinals for the seventh straight year.

Successful XIV Austrian Cheerleading Championships
With a bronze medal for the Peewees, a 4th place finish for the Juniors and a 5th place finish for the Seniors the Raiderettes wrapped up a successful Austrian Championship. The event in Ferry Dusika Stadium was a huge success, it was a sold out event with over 4,000 in attendance and all in all the talent level displayed by all participating squads was very high.

Results of the XIII. Austrian Cheerleading Championships
On March 1st, at the 13th Cheerleading Championships in Vienna, the Raiderettes finished 4th with their Danceteam, Cheer Peewees team and Cheer Juniors team. The Senior Cheerteam won the Bronze Medal.

SWARCO Raiders U13 team defeats Texas SBMSA allstar team 16:6
The young SWARCO Raiders took an early 16:0 lead in the first quarter in Tully Stadium of Houston. The Tyrolean Defense held strong against the rolling attacks of the Texans. After this first ever American-European football competition at this agelevel the 'International U-13 Youth World Championship' trophy goes to Tyrol.

Jugend Bowl XVII in Innsbruck
This upcoming Sunday the SWARCO Raiders Jugend will host the Bowl Game in Innsbruck against the Raiffeisen Vikings. Kickoff is 2pm at Wiesengasse C - Innsbruck. It will be a highclass game, and the preparations for a memorable gameday are already going on.

Victories in both semi-finals
The SWARCO Raiders Schüler team beats the Turek Graz Giants 48:8 (23:0; 8:2; 11:6; 6:0), the Jugend team defeats the Giants 26:6 (6:0; 6:6; 8:0; 6:0). Therefor three youth teams of the SWARCO Raiders, the Juniors, Jugend and Schüler are in the Bowl games of the Austrian Youth Championships.

It's Playoff-Time - 2x Giants at Home
This Sunday, October 31st, the SWARCO Raiders Schüler team hosts the Graz Giants for the playoff semi-finals at 2pm in the Wiesengasse. At 4.30pm the Jugend teams of both clubs meet in their semi-final game.

All youth teams of the SWARCO Raiders have a bye-week, but the best your players of our program do not get to rest. They are going to their second nationateam camp on the sport campus of Schielleiten from Friday to Sunday.

SWARCO Raiders Youth 2 x Champs, 2 x Runners Up
With this strong balance the SWARCO Raiders Tirol are the most successful youth program in Austria. The youngest Raiders won the Mini Bowl on Saturday with a score of 22-6 and on the following day the Juniors were able take home a convincing 35-3 victory against the Danube Dragons in the College Bowl. The Jugend suffered a bitter loss with a final score of 32-34 and the Schüler fought valiantly but came up on the short end of a 0-22 score against the Vikings.

Football Championships in Innsbruck with Big Game Day Program
Due to the repeated success of the SWARCO Raiders Football Youth program, this coming Saturday two bowl games will be taking place at the Innsbruck Wiesengasse C. The Mini Bowl (U12) and the Jugend Bowl (U16). The Finale and the events surrounding these games will be filled with fun and excitement, similar even to that of a Raiders game in Tivoli Stadium.

SWARCO Raiders Youth teams fight for the Austrian Championships

All 4 youth teams of the SWARCO Raiders Tirol found their way to the Austrian Finals and will be battling for titles this coming weekend in the most important games of the year. The SWARCO Raiders Minis and Jugend won home field advantage and will face the Raiffeisen Vikings Satruday at the Innsbrucker Wiesengasse C. On Sunday the SWARCO Raiders Schüler and the Juniors will be setting up shop at the Vienna Raveline where the Schüler will take on the Raiffeisen Vikings and then the Juniors will face off with the Danube Dragons.

In this highly anticipated game between the undefeated Vikings and the SWARCO Raiders Juniors playing for a chance to advance to the College Bowl, the tough as nails and highly concentrated defense along with unleashed running back Andreas Hofbauer were able to make the difference.

450 Participants to the 1st Tyrolean School-Day
The 1st Tyrolean School Day in American football and cheerleading has been a huge success. 450 pupils, 25 classes from 11 schools coming form all over Tyrol showed up at the Landessportcenter in Innsbruck. They tried to learn and do some ball-catching, ball-handling, tackling, flag football and cheerleading (cheer and dance) for the very first time.

Today Shuan Fatah has been introduced to the media with a press conference held in the Tivoli Stadium, the venue where he will fulfil his new role as head coach of the SWARCO Raiders Tirol. Confronted with a huge medial interest, Shuan Fatah impressed the journalists with convincing appearance and clear statements.

Team Austria Wins Bronze Medal
'Tu felix Austria!' The winner of the B-pool tournament has been arrived into the A-pool and left no doubts that they belong into the group of the best six European teams. They beat Sweden in the bronze medal game 30-0 and showed on both sides of the ball that they will be competitive for the next years. Team Austria scored 27 unanswered points in the 2nd quarter to gain a 27 points lead by four touchdowns. Sweden never could rebound from the deficit.

The SWARCO Raiders and head coach Santos Carrillo as well as offensive coordinator Nicholas Johansen will go separate ways after July 31, 2010. After long and intense considerations both sides, the board of the Tyrolean football team and the two coaches came to this decision.

SWARCO Raiders in the Austrian Bowl XXVI in Innsbruck
After our wild 58-51 overtime voctiry against the Graz Giants we?ll be in the Austrian Bowl for the 6th time. It will be taking place on Friday, July 9th, at 19:00 in Tivoli Stadium against the Danube Dragons. The hosts of this finale is, as always, the American Football League Austria (AFBÖ) and NOT the SWARCO Raiders. In addition our entry tickets and VIP-tickets have NO validity.
