(English version below) Die RAIDERS Tirol müssen bei der Suche nach möglichen Talenten für ihre erste Saison in der European League of Football (ELF) aufgrund der strengen Corona-Maßnahmen in Österreich auf eine virtuelle Testung setzen. Die virtuelle Combine wird nun sogar bis 10. Jänner 2022 verlängert.
Es haben also weiterhin Spieler aus aller Welt die Möglichkeit, sich online zu registrieren und ihre Videos einzureichen. Hier geht’s zur Anmeldung!
Alle Spieler, die bereits an der virtuellen Combine teilgenommen haben, werden nach den Weihnachtsfeiertagen informiert.
Bislang war die virtuelle Combine der RAIDERS Tirol ein voller Erfolg. Etwa 100 Spieler aus 17 Nationen nahmen an der Testung teil. Darunter nicht nur Athleten aus den USA, Kanada, Österreich oder Deutschland, sondern auch aus Ländern wie Finnland, Kasachstan, Polen oder Großbritannien.
Kevin Herron, Head Coach der RAIDERS Tirol: “Wir freuen uns über den regen Zuspruch für unsere virtuelle Combine. Natürlich hätten wir die Spieler lieber live hier vor Ort erlebt, aber diese herausfordernden Zeiten erfordern besondere Maßnahmen. Es wäre klasse, wenn noch weitere Spieler von der Möglichkeit der Online-Combine Gebrauch machen würden, um sich für einen Platz bei den Raiders zu empfehlen.“

RAIDERS Tirol extend virtual ELF combine until January 10
In search for talents for their inaugural season in the European League of Football (ELF) the RAIDERS Tirol have to focus on a digital combine due to the strict Covid restrictions in Austria. The team now decided to extend their virtual combine until January 10, 2022.
Players from all over the world can continue to register online and load up their videos to our combine platform. Sign up here!
All players that already have participated in the virtual combine will get feedback from the Raiders coaches after the Christmas weekend.
Thus far the virtual combine was nothing but a success as almost 100 players from 17 countries have signed up and participated. Athletes not only came from countries such as the United States, Canada, Germany or Austria, but also from nations such as Finland, Kazakhstan, Poland or Britain.
Kevin Herron, RAIDERS Tirol head coach: “We’re excited about the many players that have signed up to participate in our virtual combine. Of course we would rather have met all players in person, but these challenging times require special measures. It would be great if even more players would take the opportunity to sign up and join our digital combine to fight for a spot on the Raiders team”.
