Mit Charlie Eger konnten die RAIDERS Tirol einen weiteren sehr namhaften und erfahrenen Coach in ihren Staff holen. Der US-Amerikaner wird neuer Offensive Line-Coach des ELF-Teams und kann dabei auf seine jahrzehntelange Erfahrung als College-, NFL- und XFL-Coach zurückgreifen.

Die Personalie

Charlie Eger konnte in den vergangenen Jahren bei namhaften Franchises in Top-Ligen Erfahrung sammeln und Spieler weiterentwickeln. 2020 wurde Eger von den Ottawa RedBlacks als Runningback-, Tight End- und Tackles-Coach in der Canadian Football League engagiert. 2022 folgte der Wechsel in die XFL zu den Vegas Vipers, wo er zunächst als Special Teams Coordinator, wenig später als Offensive Coordinator unter Head Coach Rod Woodson auftrat.

Auch auf NFL-Level coachte Eger: Von 2013 bis 2015 war er Guest Coach der St. Louis Rams bei OTAs (Organized Team Activities), 2016 und 2017 sicherten sich die Pittsburgh Steelers seine Dienste für dieselbe Rolle.

Darüber hinaus war Charlie Eger Special Teams Coordinator und Positions-Coach (TE / OL/ WR) an der Central Connecticut State University und Offensive Coordinator an der Widener University, der Seton Hill University und der Clarion University.

Jetzt will Charlie Eger für die RAIDERS Tirol in der European League of Football seine Erfahrung einbringen.

With Charlie Eger, the RAIDERS Tirol have been able to bring another very well-known and experienced coach onto their staff. The US-American will be the new offensive line coach of the ELF team and can draw on his decades of experience as a college, NFL and XFL coach.

Charlie Eger has been able to gain experience and develop players with well-known franchises in top leagues in recent years.
