D’Angelo Fulford, geboren am 27. September 1997, startete seine Karriere an der Miramar High School in seiner Heimatstadt in Florida. 2016 schloss er sich der University of Mount Union an, wo er für die Purple Raiders in der Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) auf Division III-Niveau spielte. Schon in seiner ersten Spielzeit kam Fulford zu Einsätzen und warf in fünf Spielen 431 Yards (35/56) für 4 Touchdowns.
Schon in seiner zweiten Spielzeit startete Fulford in 14 Spielen, warf 3.096 Yards (194/282) bei 50 Touchdowns, was ihn sowohl eine Einberufung in das All-OAC First Team als auch die Auszeichnung zum OAC Bob Packard Offensive Back of the Year einbrachte. Er führte sein Team zu einer perfect season und den Gewinn der Division III National Championship.
2018 und 2019 liefen für Fulford nicht minder erfolgreich: Er konnte die Purple Raiders noch einmal in ein Endspiel führen und insgesamt noch zwei Mal den OAC Bob Packard Offensive Back of the Year-Award gewinnen. Insgesamt warf Fulford während seiner College-Karriere 9.482 Yards und 134 Touchdowns bei mageren 13 Interceptions. Von 896 Passversuchen konnte er 603 bei seinen Mitspielern anbringen, was einer Quote von 67% entspricht. Durchschnittlich warf Fulford 210.7 Yards pro Spiel.
Zusätzlich konnte er sich als starke Option im Laufspiel einfügen: Bei 315 Versuchen erzielte Fulford einen Raumgewinn von 1.333 Yards für 20 Touchdowns. Durch seine Athletik kann er auch im Rushing-Game für Gefahr sorgen.
Nach seiner erfolgreichen College-Karriere schloss er sich 2021 zunächst den B.C. Lions in der CFL an, ehe er im vergangenen Jahr Teil der Vegas Vipers in der XFL war und dort auf Charlie Eger, den neuen Offensive Line-Coach der RAIDERS Tirol traf. Nun folgt er seinem ehemaligen Offensive Coordinator nach Innsbruck, wo er mit den RAIDERS eine weitere Erfolgsgeschichte schreiben will.
