Philipp Timmermann begann seine Karriere bei den Berlin Rebels Youngsters, ehe er 2018 an die Hiawatha High School in Kansas wechselte. Der Sohn zweier Diplomaten schloss sich 2019 den Brussels Black Angels an, bevor er 2021 nach Innsbruck zu den SWARCO Raiders Tirol übersiedelte. Zunächst in der Defensive als Linebacker eingesetzt, komplettiert Timmermann seit vergangener Saison das Backfield der RAIDERS als Runningback. Er kam 2023 auf 18 Rushing-Yards bei 11 Versuchen.

Running back Philipp Timmermann remains in the RAIDERS Tirol backfield and is entering his third ELF season. Philipp Timmermann began his career with the Berlin Rebels Youngsters before transferring to Hiawatha High School in Kansas in 2018. The son of two diplomats joined the Brussels Black Angels in 2019 before moving to Innsbruck to join the SWARCO Raiders Tirol in 2021. Initially deployed in defense as a linebacker, Timmermann is playing as a running back since last season. He rushed for 18 yards on 11 attempts in 2023.
