Die RAIDERS Tirol können den ersten E-Import zur neuen European League of Football begrüßen: Oscar Strömstedt kommt aus der finnischen Liga nach Innsbruck und verstärkt die Offensive Line der Tiroler.

Oscar Strömstedt startete seine Karriere in seiner schwedischen Heimat bei den Tyresö Royal Crowns, für die er von 2019 bis 2021 spielte und in der schwedischen Superserien auflief. Der 24-Jährige Offensive Lineman wechselte anschließend nach Finnland zu den Seinäjoki Crocodiles, mit denen er sowohl 2022 als auch 2023 bis ins Endspiel – der Maple Bowl – einziehen konnte. Strömstedt wurde letzte Saison in das SAJL 2023 All Stars Offense-Team als bester Right Tackle gewählt und schien auf Platz 35 der besten Spieler der finnischen Liga auf. Jetzt will der 2.08 Meter große und 155 Kilo schwere Tackle auch in der ELF seine Stärke beweisen.

Oscar Strömstedt started his career in his native Sweden with the Tyresö Royal Crowns, for whom he played from 2019 to 2021 and appeared in the Swedish Superserien. The 24-year-old offensive lineman moved to Finland to join the Seinäjoki Crocodiles, where he reached the final game – the Maple Bowl – in both 2022 and 2023. Strömstedt was selected to the SAJL 2023 All Stars Offensive Team as the best right tackle last season and was ranked 35th among the best players in the Finnish league. Now he wants to prove his strength in the ELF as well.
